This coil nail collator is a special type of automatic welding equipment. Under regular vibrations, the disordered wire nails/roofing nails put in the vibrating feeder are guided to line up along the spiral passage against the wall of feeder and to get through a long downward groove to welding wheels, where two copper-plated wires are welded with the nails at a certain angle, 15°to 16°, then the welded nails are coiled to a fixed length as per the counter to cut off, forming a coil shape with flat top or cone top.
